Clothes moths are most commonly found close to the infested items.
They are weak fliers and not attracted to lights. The females lay 40-50 eggs over a 2-3 week period and die shortly after.
Infested items should be laundered. Items such as wools should be stored in tight fitting containers until the problem of clothes moths is eliminated. Treat would consist of liquids to knock down the adult population, removal of infested clothing and other sources, and vapor strips in enclosed spaces for long lasting protection.
